Once upon a time. Little Lut found himself dancing on his grandma's house's hall. At the place arrived his mom, his dad and his grannies, also his older sister and a foreign cousin that was visiting the house. All of them enjoyed Lut's dance, and at they clapped and cheered enthusiastically amazed at the kid's abilities... but Lut wouldn't stop dancing... "What's happening Lut? aren't you tired?" Asked his older sister... But Lut didn't say a word, he was just dancing in his own world...
Then the hours passed, the night arrived, and the following morning... more hours and another night and another morning. Lut's mother was very upset for her son had not eaten anything for two days... Lut's father was arguing with the grannies about this, they said the same had happened to one of Lut's uncles, one that now lived in a foreign country...
And the dance continued...
But Lut's granma actually had never spoked in the discussions, nor she had clapped when they all thought it was amazing, or said a word when the father argued... she had a secret. She knew what had happened to Lut... but she knew this amazing dance was becoming dangerous for her grandson and had to take it to an end...
Lut's grannie approached to the foreign cousin and told him to try to take off Lut's socks "His feet may try to kick you while dancing, and the movement may keep you away, but you must try. He won't know what you are trying to do, but when you have managed to take them off we'll all thank you for that... but you must not tell anyone what you did to stop him, just that you stopped him... and the socks you must give them to me please my dear."
And so he did... Suddenly Lut's face became all red and his breathing started to accelerate in exhaustion, sweat was running on his forehead and a flat honest smile came upon Lut's face. "Thank you" he said.
The family were all merry that Lut had stopped... His mom approached him with a warm bowl of soup and a big glass of fresh lemonade to quench his thirst. His granpa was all proud of the dancing abilities and became stubborn about entering a dancing contest. "What you have done my dear Lut, will make us all rich!" he said over and over. And his father was still worried about Lut's health, since he had excercised a lot without rest or food for two days... "I still would like to call the doctor to check on Lut's condition. I don't want anything bad to happen to him" he said out loud.
And then Lut spoke:
"Wow, I just remember I was getting dressed to go out for a while when I got this fierce urge to dance, I loved dancing while doing it. It felt like heaven!. It was a wonderful experience. Tiring but rewarding... Only, I can't remember anything else... until my cousin was grabbing my feet".
"Those socks were getting terribly dirty Lut, I had to wash them... make sure you dance with shoes next time..." said granma.
"Socks?" asked Lut. "oh yes, I'm sorry grannie, I tried on your color striped socks, without permission".
"Oh, don't worry dear, just remember to wear shoes next time" said granma while waving her magic wand into Lut's feet making a washbowl appear filled with hot water to ease Lut's feet. "But it's always nice if you ask before taking something my dear, I hope you have learned the lesson", summoned granma with a warm smile and went off to prepare the night's supper.
